People have many complex issues..they have broken lives and different needs. I don’t know how to solve that. But what we did was bring communities together with ParkPlay (and ATF). We came up with a solution.
We went to Northlands Park, called the murder park, as someone was killed there years ago. People didn’t want to go there. With local leaders from ParkPlay and communities, they felt safe, had fun and it didn’t cost them anything. They have gone back to school with memories they can talk about.
